For a company that has had its fair share of bad press over the years, McDonald’s remains one of the biggest brands in the world and this is reflected in its social media communities.

McDonald's tries to react to a huge number of clients remarks it gets, and a large portion of its posts are only item advancements.

McDonald's has some not too bad enough photographs of burgers, yet not all that much.



Their most successful latest post was posted on 13 Feb at 7:59 “The minty moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here: the Shamrock Shake is back! Find one near you on our App. #ShamrockShakeSZN 🙌☘Only at part. McDonald’s for a limited time.”
With 2.2k comments and 1.6k shares.




I found it interesting because there is use a of a short video and as we cam see that the offer is for a limited time this really influence the buyer to buy the stuff. Also, they are promoting their application which is good way to gain user attraction. They are also using the #ShamrockShakeSZN so that people can easily share the limited promotion.
KFC has a large base of followers which is close to 53 million. The brand uses Facebook for running regular promotional campaigns. KFC publishes regular posts on Facebook.

Suggestions for new menu items, taken from other cultures, was a good touch from KFC.

They sporadically link to their Facebook account, to promote charitable work, and the messages seem less lost to the ether.

He can sense when you want finger lickin’ goodness during the holidays and magically delivers Buckets to your home.
With 7.1k comments and 2.5k shares.


In the above post the company is promoting their product in a very creative way. They are attracting the customers to comment on the post and get a chance to win this little toy and $150 gift card. This is a really nice way to attract any age group.
